As I’ve mentioned previously, I’ve been deep in writing my latest book. It is now finished (YAY!) so I’ve been able to get back to crafting.
I may have told you I bought the Altenew Beautiful Day Stamps and Die set a couple of months back, and I’ve made quite a few cards with it. I have sold many of those at the flower shop, as they like feminine cards with lots of layers.
The card for today is one such card.
I started by stamping a sheet of white cardstock with a mixture of flowers, leaves, and buds – basically using all the flower-type stamps in the set. I used Altenew Summer Afternoon ink cubes (4 cubes in the set) for the flowers, and Stampin Up inks for the leaves.
I used a white cardbase, then a black card topper. I added some craft ‘gauze’ underneath, then literally just starting stacking the die cuts, and moving them around until I had an arrangement I liked. I used foam tape on some to give more dimension.
I cut the word “happy” – from STAMPlorations, and stacked it to make it stronger. The ‘birthday’ stamp is also from STAMPlorations, and is from the ‘party time’ set. (I masked off another word from the stamp.)
Lastly I added some stickles on the gauze, then decided to add little dots of stickles in three’s around the cardtopper.
And that was it.
I am adding this card to the following challenges:

This is one of my favorite sets too Cheryl! I think your added gauze really makes this card pop to a new level. Congrats on finishing your book as well! You are so very talented! Thanks for being in our gallery at Just Us Girls and please come back again soon!
