Week two of Summer Card Camp 2, and I’m loving this class!
Here’s my first card for the week. The feathers were made on the Silhouette (ID# 34665), and colored with Distress Inks. I then sprayed them with Glimmer Mist (Forever Green) as I wanted them to have a shimmer.
The colors I used for this card were: cream, blue, two shades of green, and brown. In other words I used all the available colors! (The cardstock looks white here, but it’s an offwhite/cream color IRL.)
The decorations were made with pencil ends, marker ends etc. The rhinestones started out diamond color, but I used Copics to match the colors to those used in the card.
Here’s a view from the inside. I could have left the back of the feathers plain, but decided to color them lightly to make them look nice from both sides.
The decoration you can see here, is hidden behind the paper ribbon on the front.
On the right is a close-up of the inside decorations. (Click images for a larger view.)
