Vintage Lady Card

As you probably know by now, I love making vintage cards. I love making all cards, but vintage are definitely my favourite.

For this card, I took a piece of watercolour paper and on the rough side (for more texture) I sprayed with water then dabbed this lovely shimmery purple watercolour from Creative Expressions.

I  heat dried it, but also put it aside while I cut my border die. I looked in my packaging box, but couldn’t find the packaging for this die. I believe it’s from Marianne Designs as the die is blue. I only bought this late last year, and this is only the second or third time I’ve used it. I must use it more often!

The image is from Pion Designs. It was originally oblong, but took up too much of the card topper, so I cut it down using an oval die. I think it looks perfect like this.

I popped the image up using foam tape, the added some purple rhinestones I had in my stash. (Kaisercraft)

I glued the whole thing onto the same mauve cardstock I used for the die cut.

And that’s it!

Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
