Here’s another CAS Valentine’s Day card to make.
Again, this is a very simple card, and can be put together quickly.
This time I’ve used Gina K Designs “Hopeful Hearts” stamp set, which is another discontinued set. (Gina had a huge sale just after Christmas to clear all these out. I’m afraid I went a bit wild and bought up big! Got some wonderful new stamps.)
The only stamp not out of the Hopeful Hearts set is the greeting “love you” which is from the True Love set. (Still available, and very popular!)
Here’s what I did to make this card:
Folder an A2 sheet of white cardstock in half, and cut another piece to sit on the front. I trimmed the topper so there was a small margin all the way around, then rounded each of the corners.
I stamped the hearts I wanted, using Red Stazon, then added matching ribbon with a bow, to the top as shown.
I then glued the topper to the folded card.
I could have stocked there, and almost did. But I then decided to use some stickles in a few places. So I added Stardust Stickles to the decorative areas of the largest heart as well as the medium sized heart. Because I’d already placed the ribbon, I could only add Stickles to two small hearts, so the one under the ribbon was left as is.
If you click on the image you’ll get a larger view, and should be able to see the Stickles more clearly.
I love your card. I bought this set too. Isn’t it fun!
This is one of my favorite heart sets. I love the CAS look of this card.
