I had lots of fun making this card. I made two backgrounds – one for the card and one to punch out the butterflies – by adding Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron distress inks onto my craft mat and spritzing with water. Once I was happy with those colours, and they were dried, I added Calypso Coral Stampin’ Up! ink to my mat and treated it in the same way.
I glued one of the backgrounds to my cardbase (which was also Calypso Coral), stamped the greeting – Bloom Happy from STAMPlorations. Before adding the butterflies, which were made using the large and small butterfly punches from SU, I distressed the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink.
Last but not least, I added some tiny rhinestones.
I am adding this card to the following challenges:
STAMPlorations Things with Wings Challenge
STAMPlorations Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge
Double D Neons / Brights Challenge
