This card has been entered into the Outlawz Greetings Challenge this week.
This is a very simple card to make.
The stamp I’ve used is from the Pretty Patterns set (Gina K Designs). I used a clear block that had grid lines, because the first time I tried making this card, the stamp came out crooked. The grid lines made it so much easier to keep it straight.
First time around I used a very bright red, and felt it was a bit harsh, so decided to go for a softer colour this time, and used this pretty powder blue. The image was stamped with Versamark and embossing powder. The circles were filled using Stardust Stickles, and I sponged the edges with Tumbled Glass distress ink.
The greetings are from the Assorted Greetings set – also from Gina K Designs.
Here’s the first card I made. I think you’ll see why I like the above one better. That said, it is definitely personal taste.
