Make a Card from Scraps

Hello, it’s Cheryl here. Today is World Cardmaking Day, so I hope you can make time to make a card sometime today.

This was a very easy card to make. Apart from the greeting, I’ve used on scrap pieces from the Peaceful Peonies collection from Couture Creations. I used a white cardbase, then literally cut strips of leftover double-sided paper until my cardfront was filled.

Next I found an appropriate greeting from the ephemera in the same collection. I felt it didn’t stand out enough, so cut another greeting of the same shape but a different colour, and mounted it behind the main greeting. I then added it with foam tape.

And that was it. A very simple card, and a good way to use up scraps!
