I’ve never used this sort of masking technique, but when I saw it on Inspired by Stamping, I knew I had to give it a go.
It’s very easy to do, and I think, very effective.
The (heart-shaped) background here was done with Kaisercraft script stamp, because at this time, I don’t have the Inspired by Stamping background stamp I would have liked to use. (It’s on my to-buy list!) The greeting is from Big Wishes II, and the distressed heart from Summer Postcards Add On, both from Inspired by Stamping.
I stamped the heart a second time, then cut out the heart, put it through my 1.5inch Xyron, and added some glitter. It was then mounted with dimensional foam.
The whole thing was stamped on a cardtopper, which was cut slightly smaller than the cardbase, then mounted all round with dimensional foam.
That’s it – easy peasy!
