The Kissing Technique

No, I’m not going crazy.  You can ‘kiss’ your stamps to get something entirely different.

Okay, so a few months I’d not even heard of this technique, but I since seen it several times on a variety of websites.

Today I came across http://www.card-making-ideas-and-instructions.com and what did I find?  A great tutorial on the Kissing Technique.  This link will take you directly to the correct page.  This is a step-by-step written tutorial, and I found it very easy to follow.

Because I know a lot of people (including me) really need to watch how it’s done, I went searching and found a great tutorial from another website.  This video doesn’t explain about the light and dark colors and what order to add them in, so I suggest you take a look at the above instructions as well.

The video can be seen below, but if you’d also like to look over the website that created it, go here.

You can also see this same technique but using it in a different fashion. This tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers. adds yet another dimension to the technique with the addition of markers.
