Elegance Baby Card

Hi everyone, it’s Cheryl with you today.

If you’ve been with me for a while, you’ll know I love simple. But I also love elegant. This baby card, I believe, is both.

Taking a piece of cardstock to fit the die, I layered the back of it with Diecut’N Bond. This is a double-sided tape, and makes it far easier to secure intricate dies to your cards.

I cut out the You Are Adorable Layered Sentiment Cutting Die and put it aside while I prepared the rest of the card. Then I added the design paper I wanted to use (CO728824) – I felt this particular pattern lent itself to baby cards. As an aside, it would work for cards for boys, girls, and as a neutral card.

Once I had adhered the patterned paper down, I removed the backing paper from the Diecut’N Bond and lay the cut out die onto the paper.

Once that was done, all that was left was to embellish it. What I used is wooden embellishment that I’ve had sitting in my stash for at least five years, if not more.

That is it. A simple card, using a die that lends itself to many uses.
