If you haven’t given it a go, you must! Stamping with markers is a terrific technique, and one I use often – especially for flower images.
Full details on how to do this technique can be found here on Inspired by Stamping, along with the challenge that goes with it.
The image and greeting used here are both from Inspired by Stamping, and both from the Little Flowers set.
For this card, I decided to use Vellum for the greeting, which is tucked behind one of the layers. All the flower sequins, beads, and the little heart are from my stash.

Cheryl, you are on a roll with beautiful cards these last few days. I love the different shapes on this card and how you have used the vellum. I do believe you are inspiring me to pull out some vellum (I know I’ve got some here somewhere) and put it to use.
Blessings on your day,
Teresa

Thanks so much, Teresa! I’ve been lucky that I’ve been able to just sit and play so far this week.
Vellum is not something I use often, but love it when I remember to. Do play around with it – it can be quite versatile! (Try colouring the back of it with either Copics or Distress Markers for a whole new look!)
Wow, I love this card! I like the oval layer inside of the other shape, and change of colors! Brilliant! Plus the flower is absolutely stunning. LOVE the softness of it, with the colors changing due to the markers. I must absolutely agree… IBS makes wonderful stamps! For sure! I just ordered some. LOL
I am looking at your blog out of order, starting from this latest showing, and working backwards, just so you know why I am out of order in commenting. LOL Did any of that make sense? LOL
Wonderful card, Cheryl, I love it!!!
Lovely Cheryl!
Thanks Anna! Yes, IBS stamps are wonderful. I am using this set more and more. Love it!
Thanks Lindsay!
This card is lovely Cheryl, I love the oval and outer shape together, very elegant!

Thanks Karen! I do try to do something a little different. This was pretty ho-hum to begin with, so I made changes!!
Cheryl, this turned out so pretty! I must confess I haven’t tried it yet. I must give it try now! Thank you so much! Hugs, Joanna
Thanks so much, Joanna! I always love doing this technique. It opens up lots of possibilities.

Thanks so much, Colleen! I actually tried it without the frame and didn’t like it. It added so much more to the card!
