Spotlighting Technique

JUGS

As you would be aware, I’ve spent some time with some of my crafty friends this past week, but arrived home today.

While I was away, I spent several days with my friend Ina from Little Bits of Craft. We did a bit of crafting here and there, and here’s a card I created. It uses the spotlighting technique, where you only colour some areas, and not others.

I’ve never done this technique before, and found it rather difficult to stop! (I should point out there is some bleeding as I didn’t have Copic cardstock to use.)

I am entering this card into this week’s JUGS Trend Week Challenge.

Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!

  1. So glad to hear to you had a great time with Ina! Getting together with crafty friends is such fun! I love your take on our spotlighting technique Cheryl…and I agree it’s hard to stop coloring once you have started! Thanks so much for joining us at Just Us Girls! I bet your marking the calendar for your next adventure with Ina!

  2. Thanks Verna! I forgot to mention the image was one of Ina’s and is from (if I recall correctly) Repeat Impressions.
