Thank you for all the well wishes regarding my recent hospital stay. I am now home and back to crafting! Since I am supposed to rest up, that’s the perfect solution, right? Of course it is!!
Today’s card was made for the Just Us Girls Water-coloring Challenge, which came at a perfect time, as I needed to make some thank you cards for the oncology ward I donate to.
I have used Tim Holtz Distress Water Coloring Card for this. I basically stamped my greeting using Archival Ink (because it’s waterproof) then spritzed the card with water. I then added watercolour using an aqua pen, then let it dry.
It was then placed on a mat, (which is almost non-existent underneath, from die-cutting!), then placed that on a white cardbase.
I did considering adding some sequins or pearls, or some other sort of bling, but liked the absolute simplicity of this card, and decided against it.
That’s it. All done.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Glad you are out and in he recuperating stage. I just got out today too, but I am notupto crafting yet. And I love the card you made.
Fabulous cas card Cheryl. Love the simplicity of your card and the sentiment is just perfect. I love the look of a water coloured background. So glad you are feeling so much better and you can ‘play again’. Hugs my friend.
PS – Thanks for joining us again at JUGS.
