I recently found (through my friend Ina) a challenge site I didn’t know existed. It is called Shopping Our Stash, and the current challenge is Day or Yore. The challenge is to make a shabby chic or vintage style card.
This is one of my most favourite styles to make, and above is what I came up with.
I’m also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamps Color of Love challenge.
The paper background is from Kaisercraft’s PS I Love You collection, as is the greeting. It came from the matching collectables.
I bedded the greeting on cheesecloth, then added stringed pearls top and bottom, and added flowers and a bow around it. Last but not least, I added a tiny butterfly cut out of pink paper to match.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Beautiful shabby chic design card. Great colors.
Beautiful dp Cheryl and all the little bits and bobs you added make this card just fabulous. Love this one.

Beautiful card, love the soft colours and the sentiment as the focal point. Shabby Chic is not my strong suit (took 4 days) but once done I love it. thanks for joining us at Shopping Our Stash for the Days of Yore challenge.
