Scribbly Birds Birthday Card

The background for this card was made with watercolours, done on watercolour paper.

The birds are from Dina Wakely’s Scribbly Birds Christmas set, and I stamped one, then masked it off before stamping the next bird.

The “Tweet Tweet” is from the same set, and the “Happy Birthday” is from a retired SU set. It actually has “with  a cherry on top” below it, but I masked that off so I was just left with the greeting you see here.

I added it onto black cardstock to finish off.  And that’s it!!

I am entering this card in the Double D Things that Fly challenge, as well as the Stamps and Stencils Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep challenge.

Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!

  1. These birds are so adorable and it’s nice that they aren’t restricted to Christmas. They look fabulous just stamped and left uncolored on your watercolor background. Thanks so much for joining us at Double D!
