I know I said I wasn’t posting anymore Christmas cards, but here’s is a very quick card I made for my youngest granddaughter. I was so far behind, and was making this very late at night. (Click the image if you would like to see a larger view.)
It’s not perfect, far from it, but I’m still happy with it.
I used a circle post-it note to mask off an area for the moon, then sponged around it using distress inks. I used torn paper, and (again) distress inks to make the mountains. After removing the mask, I sponged Squeezed Lemonade distress ink for the moon.
Last but not least, I stamped the very Aussie Santa stamp. It is “Kangaroo Sleigh” from Stamp-It. I bought the stamp back in 2014, so not sure if it’s still available.
I hope this card has given you inspiration. This is not my forte, but sometimes you just have to give it a go.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
It’s wonderful Cheryl!

Awesome card and sure to be a delight to her too.
Thanks so much, Karen!
Thanks Joyce! I love the stamp – it’s so unique!
Thanks Verna. She loved the card but thought Nanny was pretty silly because kangaroos can’t fly!
