Quick and Easy Spring Card

IMG_1311

This is an extremely quick and easy card to make. (This idea again came from my friend Marcelle.)

I started with a white cardstock base.

Using the Kaisercraft Tea Break paper pack, I cut the floral paper to the correct size to cover the entire front.

Next, cut an oval on white cardstock. I was unable to get the Tea Break collectibles, so found another pack that would compatible.  I found a collectible I liked with the paper, chose the stamp I wanted, then played around with the placement before stamping the greeting.

Once I’d stamped the greeting (which is from Inspired by Stamping), I glued the oval onto the card front, then the collectible.

That’s it. All done!!  So easy, and I’ve already done more of these wonderfully simple yet elegant cards.

Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!

I’ve entered this card into the Inspired by Stamping Customer Gallery, as well as Blitsy’s Linky Party #5 Challenge.

  1. Just beautiful Cheryl. I have that paper pack and I just adore it. So vintage-y. Reminds me of my sweet Grammie’s wall paper. Love that this is so simple to do, but looks just stunning. Awesome card!!

  3. Thanks so much, Judy, but all credit must go to Marcelle. She’s the one who showed me the cards she’d made using this simple technique!

  4. Thanks Marcelle! I’m so glad you showed me your cards using this technique. I just wished we lived a lot closer than two states apart!
