I thought it was probably time (or even past time) I began to add some Christmas cards on here.
This one began with a white cardbase, then I added dsp from Stampin Up’s Festival of Prints, which is now obsolete.
The card was quite simple – I tore the two pieces of dsp to the sizes I wanted, and distressed the edges. The various sizes and colours of poinsettias are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and I glued them down with my glue gun. I then added some silver ribbon.
The Christmas Bauble is from STAMPlorations, and I used silver glitter paper for the top layer.
I bought an absolute ton of red poinsettias in various sizes, as well as some large white poinsettias, so look out for more cards using these!
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Yes absolutely it’s time to start sharing your Chrissy cards Cheryl. Love this layered wonder. I am enjoying making them so much this year.

Thanks so much, Linda. I started early, so I’m enjoying not having to rush!
Lovely card , will use the idea with what I have in my stash, thank you
I absolutely love this. So very pretty with the poinsettia and all the pretty papers.

Thanks Honor. Yes, always use what’s in your stash. That makes more sense than buying something new when you can make do with what you’ve already got.
Thanks Verna. I am making a lot of vintage style Christmas cards this year.
