As you may be aware, I love making cards with feathers.
When Joanna from Inspired by Stamping announced this challenge, I knew I’d be making a card with at least one feather, and lots of girly elements. And I was totally right!
The beautiful stamp used on this card is from Inspired by Stamping “Big Wishes II”. The gorgeous flowers are also from Inspired by Stamping. Aren’t they stunning?
I am very late with this card, as the challenge closes later today. You can see the details here. (But you’ll have to be quick!)
The feather is from my stash, and the pearl strips are from Kaisercraft. The pearl pins are from my stash as well.
I was going to use this card for my sister’s birthday in a couple of weeks,. Then I remembered it’s her 60th, so it needs to be something very special, with 60 showing on the card. So it’s back to the drawing board!
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Beautiful card Cheryl. Especially like the feather.
Beautiful Cheryl! Good luck. I have just bought some stamps from Inspired by Stamping.
Thanks Ina. I love the softness that feathers bring to a card.
Thanks, Lindsay. I’m sure you’re going to love them. I certainly do!
Hi Cheryl, your card is beautiful. Love the soft pink colour and the feather and flowers finish it off beautifully.
Thanks, Jeanette! I adore adding feathers to cards – it gives a touch of vintage, and makes them much more feminine.
I was wondering which die you used to frame it in please?
Hi Stormy. The die is Spellbinders Nestabilities Decorative Elements Floral Ovals.
I really love this die set, and use them a lot. They are so very elegant, and really lift the cards to the next level. I think so anyway.
This is absolutely gorgeous! Lovely shape die, and color pink! Those bling swirls and pins, are simply out of this world, beautiful! Perfect feather addition, makes this card so classy. Excellent job, my friend!
Thanks Anna! You know I love using feathers on my cards, and it usually does make the cards that bit more classy, and also adds a feminine touch.
