The beautiful Peaceful Peonies range will be hitting our stores next month. Having the chance to play with it, I crafted a few different ideas I came up with.
Using the Peaceful Peonies Leafy Branch Cut, Foil, and Emboss die, I made three different cards, using three different techniques.
The first card (shown above) was made by foiling the Leafy Branch onto white cardstock using rainbow foil. I did the same with the greeting. In the background is the Sunburnt Country embossing folder Gumnuts, which goes well with the die. I first cut out each of the dies used (before embossing), then embossed. The two foiled items were then glued into the recesses after gluing down the base.
For my next card I used the piece cut out from the first card. To be clear, this was embossed (but not foiled) by running it through my die cutting machine like a regular die.
I then used Oxide Distress Inks to add a variety of Autumn colours by sponging. I foiled the greeting using the same cardstock and Driftwood foil.
Both were popped up on foam tape, then I added a few sequins and that one was done.
For my final card, I used the negative piece from the original foiling. I fused it to the card using my adapter plate (the same one you use for Cut, Foil, and Emboss Dies) and a couple of cardstock shims.
Lastly I added a greeting – Happy Day. I popped the greeting up with foam tape.

That is a beautiful leaf and I love the foiling of the design on your cards. The other one done in a more plain way looks wonderful too.
Thanks so much, Verna.
