I’ve already made more than four dozen Christmas cards, but none of them for me! They’ve been made for the troops overseas, plus two Christmas card sets for prizes.
So now it’s time for my cards!
This card was made with the Inspired by Stamping Painters Tape Tutorial challenge in mind.
I added the inked up tape down the centre of my card (see the tutorial for details), then added snowflakes from IBS December 25th Labels using the same gold ink. The main image is also from that set. I stamped it with Archival Jet Black Ink, then put it through the Xyron, and added fine glitter.
That’s it, done. I could have added a little Stickles to the snowflakes, and may even still do that.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Your card is beautiful, Cheryl. That is a really cool technique. I think I will try it.

Thanks Teresa! I’ve heard of it before, but never tried it.
Thanks Marcelle. The glitter makes it really stand out.
Very pretty Cheryl!
Thanks so much, Lindsay!
That’s awesome Cheryl that you have made that many cards for the troops. This is so pretty! I love the glitter. Hugs, Joanna
Thanks Joanna! It was a fun card to make. (Even if I was covered in glitter by the time I finished!!!)
Stunning Cheryl!! Love what you did with that image…
Thanks so much, Penny!
