This week is Color Week at Just Us Girls. When I first looked at the colour combination I decided to skip it, but once I’d seen the DT cards, as well as the entrants, I decided to give it a go.
It isn’t a combination I would have tried otherwise, but I must concede they go nicely together.
I used SU’s Baked Brown Sugar cardstock for the base, then Soft Sky for the topper. (Which is more aqua than the blue I thought it would be when I bought it. I stamped the World stamp (SU) onto the topper, then stamped four different nautical stamps (all from Inspired by Stamping), which I punched out with my square punch. Then I cut a strip of Baked Brown Sugar and placed the squares on it.
Lastly I stamped “Happy Birthday” using a discontinued SU stamp.
That’s it, done.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Beautiful card and beautiful colors.
Thanks so much, Verna!

I loved that colour combination. Great male card Cheryl. You are certainly getting lots of use out of that IBS stamp set. Great layout.
Thanks so much Ina! It’s probably my most used stamp set for masculine cards!
