MP3 Card

It was my granddaughter’s 14th Birthday a couple of days ago, and since she is an iPod fan, I thought it would be fun to try and make her an iPod card.

MFT MP3 Player die was the closest I was able to get.

I searched around and found this set at an Australian store. A few days after I bought the die, I discovered there’s a stencil that goes with the die, so decided to buy it too. It’s called “Equalizer”.

The music die I had in my stash – I’ve had it for quite a while now. (Sorry, I don’t know the brand.)  It was a reasonably simple card, and following is what I did to the inside.

  1. That is a cool card…do they say “cool” anymore? At any rate, I love it and I am sure teenagers of any gender would too. Great job on this one.

  2. Thanks Verna. That’s exactly what she said when she saw it. “Cooooool.”

I felt vindicated for all the time spent making it. (LOL)

  3. Thanks Ina. I’m very happy with it, and will make way more of these for the various community groups I donate cards to.
