I really liked this week’s Just Us Girls photo inspiration. It started all sorts of ideas. I really wanted to do something with a teapot, but didn’t have a suitable stamp. So I decided on a teacup, but again, didn’t have a suitable stamp.
So I decided to sketch out a teacup, ended up doing two, and here’s the results.
Apart from the background, everything you see here was either scraps or die cuts that weren’t used. The Mother’s Day greeting came from a freebie in a cardmaking magazine.
The butterflies were made using Stampin’ Up Embosslits Beautiful Wings.
I’m also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp blog challenge.

A cup of lovliness! Thanks for joining in at JUGS!
I love the flowers in the cup design. So pretty!
Oh, so pretty! Your cup looks like a diecut:-)

Thanks Verna. I’m pretty happy with it!
Thanks Joyce. I’m surprised at how well it came out. 🙂
This is such a lovely creation, Cheryl. I love all your sweet butterflies, and your teacups are the best. I would never guess you hand drew them!! Great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along with us this week over at Just Us Girls!!!
Thanks so much, Judy. I like to ‘flex my creative muscles’ from time to time. Most of the time though, I’m just lazy. 🙂
That said, I’m pretty happy with this.
