Before I get into today’s card, I wanted to let you know I’ve just discovered Blitsy have a massive sale going on. They’re having a warehouse sale, and everything is 60%-90% off! There are some amazing savings to be had. But don’t delay, because once it’s gone, it’s gone. Click here to register, or login if you have already registered. (It’s free to register, but savings are only available to registered members.)
Okay, onto today’s card!
You may not be aware, but I start on my seasonal cards quite early. I generally make around forty each of Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day cards each year, as well as a similar number of Christmas cards, all for the flower shop I sell to, so like to start early. I had the square die cuts sitting on my craft table, so decided to make a card with them.
The card was quite simple – I added design paper to a white card base, then added two different colour layers of the square die cuts.
The bodice on the left of the card is a Nouveau Cut, Foil and Emboss die, foiled with gold foil. To finish the card off, I added a small flower to the centre of the bodice, and a clump of matching flowers on the right hand top of the die cuts.
I am adding this card to the Color Throwdown #511 challenge.
