Nearly two weeks ago I posted a “Birthday Pocket Card” and said I wasn’t keen on the colours I’d used on the tag in relation to the card itself.
So I decided to make a new tag to go with the card, and here it is.
I began by stencilling the base using Versamark, then heat embossed with white powder. (I believe it was a Kaisercraft stencil.) Then sponged all over the tag with distress ink, rubbing the excess off with a tissue.
I then stamped the image (right) from STAMPlorations Bloom Happy stamp set. I lightly coloured it with distress inks to match the rest of the tag, then cut it out and glued down.
Last of all I cut out the CUTplorations “birthday” die in yellow and glued it down, then added some pink ribbon.
I am entering this card in the STAMPlorations February Mixed Media challenge, as well as the STAMPlorations Never-Ending Anything Goes challenge.
That’s it. All done.
