Back in October I told you about a mixed media online class I took. At that time, I made a collage card, which you can see here, and also find out details of the class.
During this class I made a mixed media Christmas card. This was made in exactly the same way as the collage card, but using torn strips of design paper.
I used a Tim Holtz stencil to add a Christmas design with texture paste.
Here’s what it looked like before adding the greeting:
And here’s the finished card:
(You may need to click the image to enlarge, to see the greeting properly. There’s a bit of reflection there.)
The greeting is from a Stampin’ Up! set.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
The finished card looks pretty amazing to me. Great job on it!
Thanks so much Verna. When you just enjoy the process, the cards seem to come out better.
So colourful and great layout Cheryl. Love mixed media. Just don’t do it enough.
Ina recently posted..It’s nearly ‘Christmas Time’
Thanks so much, Ina!
