A very quick and easy card for a male.
I decided to use “thinking of you” as it could suit many ocassions. This is my last (minute!) card for the IBS Masculine Challenge.
The background was made using alcohol inks, and the tag was made using the new IBS Masculine Tags. I really love this set, and if you’re someone who makes masculine cards regularly, I’d suggest you check this set out. (Change the greeting, and you’ll have a card for another ocassion.)
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
This is a great male card Cheryl, I do like that set…on my wish list!
Thanks Marcelle. I did wonder if it was a little too basic, but I didn’t want it cluttered either.
This is a really great guy card! I love what you did with the twine, very cool! Thanks so much for joining us at IBS!

Thanks Leah! I love twine for guy cards. I’m a ribbon freak, but can’t use ribbon for guys, so twine it is!!!
Great guy card Cheryl! Love the twine too! Hugs, Joanna
Thanks Joanna! It was such an easy card to make. Your masculine stamps have made my guy cardmaking soooooo much easier!!
Cheryl, your alcohol inked background is perfectly gorgeous! Then add in that absolutely stunning stamped sentiment! Brilliant!
Love the CAS look, also.
It’s just such a great card, and like you said, can be used for all occasions. Love the ability to change out sentiments, on the same “mat”, talk about stretching your stamps! (economically speaking.)
I just love the bird, and the “symbol”, what is that called? Are they add on stamps? LOVE THEM, they really do add to the card’s overall look.
Twine is certainly more masculine than ribbon, and looks very cool “holding” the sentiment. Reminds me of a “storefront” sign, at a little seaside resort town. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Anna, It is great to be able to change out the sentiments – it makes it a very versatile set.
Funny enough, I hadn’t thought about colouring the tags, but someone on STV did that. Must give it a try!
Not sure about the symbol, but it seems nautical to me. I could be wrong, though!
The oncology ward have told me they need masculine “thinking of you” cards, so this one will be going there.
Cheryl I love this card and wow what a great background created with your inks
Thanks, Lyn. It’s a great background for a guy card!
Wow, so striking! Love the background and that fun twine. Thanks for sharing with us at IBS.

Tina, I have very limited alcohol inks at the moment, but so far I’ve managed to make all the backgrounds look different. Which is probably just a fluke!
Thanks for stopping by!
Grace, thanks so much. I’m really enjoying making all these masculine cards. It’s something I always cringed at doing before all the fantastic masculine stamps were released by IBS!
Thanks so much Calypso! Just found your comment in with the spam, so mega apologies!
