I rarely work with Kraft cardstock, despite having a ton of it in my stash. More than anything, I just don’t think of it!
This was a fairly simple card, using kraft as the base, then taking a piece of pink cardstock, which I cut down to fit the front of the card. I then used Spellbinders Curved Borders Two to cut out the design. I used a flower punch from my stash, and the butterfly is from Stampin’ Up!
I added Stickles to the flowers and butterfly to give a bit more dimension, then added pearls to them. The greeting is from Stamp-It.
I am adding this card to the Mod Squad’s current challenge – Get Krafty.
Your card is so beautiful! I love how kraft looks on a card. And, it goes with so many great colors. I hope I find time later in the weekend to make one too, but if not I will admire those who do find time.
Thanks Verna! Yes, I love it too, just never think to use it! Have fun with it on the weekend!
I love your border, sweet card
What a wonderful card!!!!I would never have thought to use pink with the kraft and it works so well together. Thanks so much for playing along with us this week over at Just Us Girls!!!
