This fairly simple card was made especially for the Inspired by Stamping Faux parchment Challenge. Owner Joanna Munster has made a video tutorial (which you can find at the proceeding link) on how to do this technique.
Here’s what I did/used:
Pale pink cardbase and topperSpellbinders M-Bossabilities Whimsical Flora EF (Design B)
Lightly sponged Worn Lipstick Distress Ink over the raised image, using a distress tool with sponge. I only sponged the areas that weren’t going to be covered with vellum, as I didn’t want too much color showing from under the embossed vellum.
Wet embossed the greeting on vellum with Versamark, then using the heat gun, set the Ranger Super Fine gold embossing powder. Then repeated the process using red embossing powder for the heart.
Cut the vellum above and below the embossed greeting and image, and folder underneath the topper, using double-sided tape to secure. Add topper to cardbase.

This is so pretty, Cheryl. Plus, a technique to learn, woohoo! I just love vellum additions, wish I thought to do that more. LOL
Thanks for sharing the “how-to’s”.
Thanks Joanna! It’s so quick and easy to do, but the result is always great!
Hey Anna, thanks! I learned it in the His n Hers class. You did that one too, didn’t you?
