Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, despite all the current world difficulties.
I needed to make some reasonably quick last minute Christmas cards last week. As it turned out, I had some Couture Creations double-sided patterned paper left from 2019, (and very little from 2020) so I pulled that from my stash.
Each 12 x 12 sheet will give you enough paper for six cards, depending on the size card you are using.
I got six pieces from each sheet, then had about a 1″ strip left over.
Using my Go Press & Foil machine, I foiled the Merry Christmas hot foil stamp from 2019 (not sure if it’s still available) onto red cardstock that matched the base. Then, using a die from my stash, I cut each one out. I added ribbon (again from my stash) across the patterned paper and glued down at the back. You could also use gold mirror cardstock for this or even coordinating patterned paper.
I then glued them down onto the base, and added the greeting using foam tape. That was where I’d intended to stop, but felt it looked bare on the lower part of the cards. I searched my die stash, and found this fancy little die, and cut out enough to do all the cards. Then I decided to do a few with the gold mirror cardstock on the cards with the green topper.
This same style/layout could be used for any ocassion. They are quick and easy, and will be different each time depending on what supplies you use.
