Just a Note

This month the design team members of the Crafty Card Gallery have been tasked with making a card that either contains a penguin, or is black and white in colour.

To be honest, I don’t know that I even own a stamp of a penguin, but I do find black and white cards to be quite elegant, so that’s what I opted for.

This is a very simple card – extremely CAS. (Clean and Simple.)

I began with a plain white cardbase. I stamped the large circle image from the Inkadoo Circle and Dots set. (I bought my set from Blitsy, but not sure if they have them currently or not.) Then I added a black Kaisercraft flower, then a smaller white one, and lastly a black rhinestone.

Last of all I stamped the very elegant greeting “Just a note” from the Inspired by Stamping set, Vintage Dress Form.

That’s it – all done, very quick and easy!

Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!

  1. Thanks Marcelle. I think this one will be really pretty in colours too. I’m going to try making it using embossing powder, and a different greeting. I’m guessing it will look totally different.

  2. I love this Cheryl. Black and white, very simple but elegant. Somehow it’s very stunning.
Hey, I have a question. How did you get your signature on the bottom of your post? I have been wondering about that.
Hope you are staying cool – it was negative 2 Fahrenheit here last night – haha!

  3. Hi Judy, thanks for stopping by! The signature was made by signing a piece of white paper, then it was scanned. Very easy!!
