Today I’m sharing a Joy Fold Card with you.
This is a style that can be used for just about any ocassion, and can be decorated any way you like. In my opinion they have a bit more pizazz than a regular card.
These cards have been around for a very long time, and there are a couple of ways it can be made, but this one seems to be the most popular format.
It is incredibly easy to make, but is admittedly a little fiddly. Especially the first time around. Because of this, it’s difficult to explain, so I’ve made a video for you.
In the video, I promised measurements, and they are listed below. The finished card is almost the same as a regular card size. (Some of these sizes are slightly different to what I quoted in the video.)
4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ Base Card Stock scored at the 5 1/2″ mark
3 3/4″ x 5″ Base Card Stock scored at the 4 ” mark
4″ x 5″ White Card Stock
2 7/8″ x 4″ Gentleman’s Emporium Collection Paper
