This was quite a simple card.
I started with a navy mat on a white cardbase. I added a hessian strip across a little lower than half way down the page. I had pulled some strings off around the sides to give a bit more pattern, and used some of those underneath the flower.
I cut the flower using three petal dies and Real Red cardstock, and the centre in yellow. I also cut the greeting using the same red cardstock.
Last but not least I added some leaf clumps I had sitting in a basket on my craft table.
I am entering this in the Just Us Girls Photo Week Challenge.

Beautiful card. Love the colors and pretty red flower. I like how you pulled some of the strings from the hessian strip and used under the flower.
I love your card. A great take on the inspirational photo.
Love this card Cheryl. That burlap behind your lovely flower just sets this card off perfectly.
