I really love this get well card, and I think it’s because of all the shine it has on it.
The background was made using an embossing folder (Roses by Kaisercraft) and iridescent foil. I was practicing when I made it, and didn’t realise I hadn’t put enough foil to cover the whole card front. So it only came down a little over three quarters of the card.
So… to cover up, I added some sheer pink ribbon (as can be seen in the bow) and wrapped it around the top layer. I then added some lace from my stash over the top to ‘pretty it up’.
I added a foiled greeting – from Couture Creations, which I then cut around, and placed in the centre.
Lastly I added the pink bow and a flower on top.
I added the whole topper on a matching card base. And that was it done.
