I regularly make cards for a local gift shop, and was recently asked to make a number of feminine birthday cards, as well as baby cards for girls. (I made lots of boy baby cards a few months ago, but didn’t have many pink supplies at the time.)
Today’s card was quick and easy. The card topper was made using SU Coastal Cabana. I embossed one half with SU’s fan embossing folder, then added white ribbon down the centre. I then added a white bow down the card, and just above that, I added a greeting inside a frame using Inspired by Stamping stamps (for both). To make this coordinate well with the card, I stamped with SU Coastal Cabana ink.
Last but not least, I added a few small glass domes that I bought some years ago at a craft fair, then mounted it all on top of a white cardbase.
This card only took about ten minutes from start to finish, so definitely very quick.

Wow Cheryl you really packed a punch with this beauty. Even better when it was a quickie. Love all those great elements you used.
Love the luxurious look of this card but yet it is quick to put together. Bonus!! Great card Cheryl
Love the color, love that texture! Very pretty!
Thanks, Ina. This card could be done production-line style, without it looking like it.
Using a different embossing folder would give it a totally different look as well.
Thanks Liz. Yes, you’ve got to love a card that is quick and easy, but also looks great.
Thanks Donna. Coastal Cabana is my favourite SU colour, by far. A bit of texture can really make a card, I agree.
Cheryl! This is stunning, I think this is my most favourite card you’ve ever made – it’s so gorgeous! <3

What a gorgeous card and love the color of it. Perfectly done and it surely does not look like it was a quick and easy card.
I LOVE this Cheryl!! I think I will have to CASE!! Beautiful!!!
Thanks Karen. I think it could be my favourite too. (And I’ve made an awful lot of cards over the years!)
Thanks Verna. It’s amazing how quick it was to make this. I thought it would be very time consuming.
Thanks Marcelle. Feel free to CASE. I never have a problem with people CASE’ing me! (Instead I see it as a compliment.)
SO soft and pretty! I LOVE that gorgeous blue color you used, the clean layout, and that amazing bow! Thanks for joining us at Inspired By Stamping! HUGS! 🙂 Mynn xx

Thanks so much, Mynn. I think I’ve told you before you’re good for my ego?
Beautiful Cheryl! Love the colours as well as the half embossing.
Thanks so much, Lindsay. They really are quick cards to make, but turn out lovely! Change the embossing folder and greeting, and you have a totally different card.
