One of my dear friends had a birthday recently, and this is the card I made for her. It was very simple, but I think turned out to be very elegant in appearance.
I used Coastal Cabana ink and paper from Stampin’ Up! plus ribbon I matched from the store. (Since SU didn’t make ribbons for this particular colour. Strange but true.)
I used the Stripes embossing folder for the white background, and layered it on the matching cardstock. I also splattered matching ink on the background for texture. I cut out the die I wanted to use, and after adding the ribbon to the card, layered it on top.
I then stamped the greeting onto white cardstock, again in the matching ink.
That’s it. All done.
