Faux Fresco Card

Hmmm, never heard this term before?  I hadn’t either, until today. This is another card that I’ve made as a result of the online card class I’m doing.

It’s basically dry embossing, then adding hints of colour with copics (I used distress pens as I don’t have copics), then using White Picket distress paint over the top. My card is quite a bit different from the one demonstrated in class as I don’t have that specific folder.  But I also added a row of embossed snowflakes instead of patterned paper – just to be different.

I’ll be posting two more cards from today’s class shortly.

As always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!  Thanks for stopping by!!

  1. Wow, Cheryl, it’s a lovely card. Like your changes, also. How cool that the teacher of the class popped by to comment! Well done!
