I don’t enter a lot of challenges, only those that catch my eye. To do that it needs to be a challenge with something that appeals to me as a crafter, something that I’m passionate about.
As you may or may not know, I love making cards with a fairy theme. I make quite a lot of these for the cards I make for our soldiers. However, the following is a journal page, not a card, but I will be following in my friend Karen’s footsteps and will print these out card sized to make multiple cards. (What a great idea Karen!)
Digistamps4Joy currently have a challenge running that has an optional twist of fairies. So I have entered!
This journal page took many hours from start to finish, but I found it incredibly relaxing. I also used a medium I rarely use – watercolour pencils. The colours are so very vibrant! (FYI, I used Distress Inks for the background, and watercolour pencils everywhere else.)

Did I tell you I love Lavinia Stamps? (If you want to enter their monthly challenges, go to the blog or their Facebook page.) They have the most stunning fairy stamps I’ve ever seen! They are very good quality, but also a little pricey compared to other stamps on the market. I now have a wonderful collection, but there are still way more on my wishlist!
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
I so love looking at your arty skills and know just how long it takes to make them look so beautiful. I am not a fairy person but LOVE what you have created here. So so pretty!
