This very elegant card uses the beautiful Le Petit Jardin design paper, and was incredibly simple to make.
I began with a blue cardbase, and cut the design paper slightly smaller than the base, giving me a border all the way around.
Next I cut the die (it’s a Becca Feekan die) in gold cardstock, then added it to the base and design paper, which were already adhered.
I foiled the “Happy Birthday” hotfoil stamp using gold foil, then cut it out using the matching die, giving me the perfect size.
The gold bow I added was absolutely perfect, but the card didn’t look quite finished, so using my hot glue gun, a small flower was added.
Last of all I added gold Nuvo Drops to the sides.
(*Because Australian paper sizes are slightly different to US sizes, I had to trim the die slightly.)

This is absolutely gorgeous with all that gold and those pretty colors. I love the ribbon bow too.
Thanks so much, Verna. I love a card with a bit of bling on it. 🙂
