For some strange reason, my brain kept telling me I had to make a double pocket card. I vaguely remember seeing one ages ago, but that’s it. Not something I’d seen recently.
So I went searching, and finally found a video from Split Coast Stampers. It was very easy to follow, and here’s the card I made:
I did have some difficulty with this, and it didn’t work out quite right, but I managed to make it work. I had DSP hanging over the side, that shouldn’t have been there, but I managed to tuck it to the back. It was then hidden when I added it all to the card base.
Here’s the inside and the tags:
For the inside, I used left over DSP and cut it out with a punch. (DSP from my stash – had it for many years!) The tags were made using images from a DVD I bought a few years ago. At least I think that’s where they’re from – I had them printed out ready to use.
You could embellish this card any way you like, for absolutely any occasion.
I had someone in mind for this card when I made it, but I won’t say who in case she sees this post.
I am entering this card in the STAMPlorations CUTplorations challenge.
Finally, here’s the video showing how to make this card:
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
That is so beautiful! I love the double pocket design.
Thanks so much, Verna! I’ll definitely be making more of these, and hopefully the next one will work out perfectly.
There’s a lovely vintage feel to this card Cheryl!
