I’ve been having a lot of fun with the Couture Creations Naughty or Nice collection this week, and created some nifty little desk stands. At least that’s what I’m calling them. I’m not sure if that’s the correct name or not. What do you think?
There are two styles, as can be seen above, but they are almost identical to put together. One has a pen/pencil holder, and the other doesn’t.
Below you’ll find the measurements for each one, and I’ve made a video to show you how to do it. Believe me when I say they are easy!! (If you don’t want to watch the whole video for the second box, you might want to skip forward to see how to make the pen/pencil holder. You could use it in both.)
For this box you’ll need:
Cardstock:
3 3/4″ x 11″ – score on the 11″ side.
Score at 4″, 8″, 9″, & 10″
—-
4 3/4 x 7 1/4 – score on 4 3/4 side.
Score at 1/2″ and 4 1/4″
On the 7 1/4 side, score at 4″ and 4 1/2″
—-
2 1/2 x 2 1/2
Score at 1/2″, 1″, 1 1/2″ and 2″
—-
Design Series Paper:
Cut at 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 and 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 (You should get both pieces out of one 6.5″ x 6.5″ sheet depending on the pattern used.)
For this box you’ll need:
Cardstock:
7″ x 4 3/4″ – score on the 7″ side.
Score at 1/2″ mark on each side
On 4 3/4 side – score at 4″ & 4 1/2″
—-
3 3/4″ x 10 1/2″ – score on 10 1/2″ side.
Score at 4″, 8″ 9″ and 10″
—-
Design Series Paper:
Cut at 3 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ and 2-1/4 x 3-3/4 (You should get both pieces out of one 6.5″ x 6.5″ sheet depending on the pattern used.)
