This fun image is from Stamping Bella, and is called Uptown Girl Brett and Brenda Get Married. Strange name, but fabulous image!
I bought this set back in October, then totally forgot about it. I’ve been having a wedding card making day today, and came across it in my wedding supplies.
The colouring is very basic, and I pretty much followed the colours on the packaging, since it was my first time using it. I’m not unhappy with the results.
After colouring, I decided to add the greeting in vellum, as I didn’t want the image to be crowded. I then added it onto a Blushing Bride (SU) cardbase.
I made this card for the Time Out Challenge, which has a theme of Love or Friendship. To me, a wedding card should come in under the Love theme.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Oh Cheryl this is such a totally cool wedding card. So modern and funky. Love how you coloured Brett & Brenda – fabulous fun card.
Thanks so much, Ina! I had fun colouring it.
Wonderful wedding card and great coloring of that awesome image too!
Thanks so much, Verna!
I love your colouring on the characters Cheryl, perfect as far as I can see. The way you’ve done the dress, i couldn’t do that in my wildest dreams as I feel I have to colour everything, so I wouldn’t ever get the effect you got there, with it looking white with blue shadows, love it! Good luck!
