Christmas Z-Card

You may or may not be aware that my mother-in-law has dementia.

She’s been living in a nursing home for many years, as she was too unwell to live alone any longer. She finds it quite difficult to stand cards up, so I decided to make her a Z-Card that would virtually stand up by itself.

I won’t go through all the steps of making a Z-Card because there are heaps of tutorials on YouTube that make it easy to do these.

I have used Couture Creations Highland Christmas Collection design papers for the background. For the larger panel, I went with a different pattern, that just happened to match an already foiled “Merry Christmas” topper I had sitting waiting to be used.

I foiled the large piece with the Poinsettia Corner Hotfoil Stamp, on two different corners, then added the “Z” over the top.

Products Used:

CO726272 – Highland Christmas 12x 12 paper pad

CO725384 – Gold Iridescent foil

C0726301 – Highland Christmas – Merry Christmas Flourish Hotfoil Stamp

C0726304 – Highland Christmas – Poinsettia Corner

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed my creation!
