This was an incredibly simple card. I started with a kraft card base, then cut some printed Christmas dsp I’ve had for a couple of years. I made sure some of the Christmas text was going to show through once I added both my elements.
So I cut it to size, then glued it down to the card base.
The greeting (SU retired set) was stamped, then I cut around it, keeping the shape of the greeting as best I could. Last but not least, I added my reindeer which was cut from gold foil card stock.
The reindeer is from a Spellbinders set I’ve had for many years.
I am entering this card in the Just Us Girls “Metallics” challenge.
Here is another card I made using this same design. For this one I made the front slightly narrower and added a strip of gold washi tape on the inside edge.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Both of these are really beautiful! They are clean and simple but still retain a classy look! My style completely!
Thanks so much, Verna! Yes, I like the clean and simple look of them too.
I love that background paper, Cheryl, and it’s a perfect backdrop to your wonderful foil stag. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
