Christmas Reindeer Card

You might remember last year when I said I was going to start my Christmas cards early this year. I was determined to make it happen, but of course didn’t.

Then I was given the opportunity to join the Seasons Greetings Design Team, so I jumped at the chance. This is my first post as a DT. The theme for this challenge is Embossing. (That could be dry or heat embossing.)

I started with a white cardbase, and added a gold mat to it. Then I added a white mat that had been dry embossed with a Christmas folder. I cut out a large tag in gold, and a much smaller embossed white tag. When they were assembled, I added a gold reindeer (Spellbinders) to the white tag.

Last but not least, I added a gold ribbon to the top, and a tiny tag stamped with “Scatter Joy”. The stamp is from the “Merry and Bright” set from JustRite. (I’ve had it for years, so could be obsolete.)

If you would like to join in the challenge, go here. We’d love to see you there!

Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
