Outlawz Alcohol Markers group have a Christmas in July challenge, so since I’ve begun using Copics recently, thought I’d give it a go.
Here’s my entry:
For those interested, the main image is from Stamp-It (2009) and is called Traditional Baubles. I’m not sure if it’s still available. The greeting is a Kaisercraft sentiment, which I’ve had a few years, so again, probably not available.
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Very pretty card, Cheryl. I need to start working on my Christmas cards soon.
Thanks Sharyn! A challenge is always good incentive for me to make Christmas cards at this time of the year!
Very cute card! Thanks so much for playing along with us over at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog!
Thank you so much JIngle! It seemed quite strange making a Christmas card at this time of the year, but it was fun.
This is so pretty. Your colors are wonderful. Love those decorative corners, and the gorgeous green base color. Yeah, Christmas in the summer Challenges are a good way to prepare, eh? LOL Love your Christmas stamps, and yeah, they tend to last a while, so not surprised they may be out of date. However, the classic ones, like yours, work! Plain and simple. Just changing up the colors, and all set, right? Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks Anna. I do love that stamp, but it was super expensive! (Wood mounted stamps are quite costly over here!)
When choosing stamps, I try to find something that won’t date. Need to get the best bang for my buck!
