I’m up to my eyeballs in Christmas cards for the troops, and still going.
Then I notice a challenge over on Outlawz. It’s an alcohol marker challenge, so an opportunity to use Copics again. None of the other cards use Copics or colouring, because I wanted to get a good volume done, and colouring would slow me down immensely.
Anyway, I took a break from the cards I was making, and made this card.
I was absolutely itching to add some stickles or glitter here and there, but of course I couldn’t because this one is also going off to the troops. (It’s already bagged and ready to go!)
Stamps used:
Greeting: Darkroom Door – Dear Santa
Holly branches: Stamp-It – Holly Twirl
Bauble: Stamp-It – Traditional Baubles.
It’s worth noting that all three of these stamps are at least a year old, so I’m not sure if they’re still available. (I do know you can get Dear Santa from the Darkroom Door website because I was there a few days ago looking at some of their other vintage style Christmas stamps.)
Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment, and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
Just lovely Cheryl! I often wonder whether working as a team would make these cards go faster or slower because we’d be busy talking instead. LOL
