This Christmas card was so quick and easy, but is also lovely to look at.
I started with red cardstock, which I folded in half. Cut out the Christmas Tree from a Nellie’s die, and wrapped gold thread around it, starting and finishing at the back. I used the tiniest bit of tape to secure each piece of thread in a place it wouldn’t be seen.
Using Versamark, I stamped the greeting, which in this case is a Kaisercraft clear stamp. I then used Ranger Fine Gold Embossing powder on it, and heat set.
The tree was then secured using wet glue, and I randomly added red rhinestones. I found a gold star brad in my stash, and cut of the legs, then secured it to the top of the tree using glue dots stacked on top of each other – for depth.
That’s it. Done!! (Like I said, quick and easy!!!)

Beautifully simple. Love it
Simple, yet elegant. Love that string wrap, and the gold embossing is perfect. The bling is so pretty. Nice to let the “dies” do the work, especially when the result is so stunning. Well done.
