By The Sea Card

I hadn’t used my Wetlands stamp set for so long, and this week’s Just Us Girls Word Challenge of Sea, spurred me into using it again. I don’t often make masculine cards, and this set is perfect for them.

This was a very simple card. I sponged Scattered Straw distress ink on the bottom, depicting sand. I used a torn piece of paper to make sand dunes.

The top is meant to be the sea, and I tried to make waves, again using torn paper, but I think it looks more like clouds. I guess you can’t win them all!

I stamped the little geese so they were crossing both the sand and the water, then stamped the greeting. I made nine of these cards to put into my Christmas gift stash.

Thanks for looking, and as always, if you want to comment and the comment box isn’t showing, click the title of this post and it will magically appear!
